Listening to the Whispers of Earth, Body, and Mind

SUPERNATURAL experiences are an invitation to slow down, feel, and reconnect with the living world through Plant Music Sound Baths and nature-based workshops designed as spaces for sensory awakening and the re-enchantment of everyday life.

The project highlights the therapeutic relationship between human beings and the natural world. At its heart lies the concept of an ecology of emotions, exploring how our emotional states are shaped by our connection with nature and, in turn, how our emotions influence the way we relate to the living world.

Drawing on the poetic metaphor of photosynthesis, SUPERNATURAL celebrates a universal superpower that we all possess: the ability to transform and regulate our emotions. In doing so, it offers pathways to nurture ourselves, each other, and the Earth.

How it began

SUPERNATURAL was born in 2021 as a collaboration between French artists Amaury Bouquet (visual art and participatory performance) and Alex Alexopoulos (Wild Anima) (sound art and immersive installation), growing out of the concept album of the same name released that year.

Conceived as an evolving eco-artistic project, It's a project that highlights the therapeutic aspect that exists between human beings and trees through the idea of recognising how nature inspires us to find the inner light that allows us to repair the broken parts in ourselves. Inspired by the poetic metaphor of photosynthesis, it invites participants to discover their own inner photosynthesis—our innate capacity to transform emotions, cultivate resilience, and reconnect with ourselves, with one another, and with the Earth.

Blending immersive concerts, participatory installations, plant music, sensory workshops, and collective rituals, SUPERNATURAL creates spaces where art becomes an experience of presence, contemplation, and transformation. Drawing inspiration from tarot, mythology, and the healing sanctuaries of Ancient Greece, each experience is designed as a journey through sound, light, imagination, and the senses.

SUPERNATURAL is conceived as a living, ever-evolving artistic ecosystem. Rather than a fixed performance, it continuously transforms through collaborations with artists, researchers, musicians, educators, and local communities.

Like a living organism adapting to its environment, SUPERNATURAL changes with every place, every landscape, and every encounter. Its current formats include immersive art concerts, sensory installations, participatory performances, and site-specific experiences that invite audiences into a shared journey of sound, light, emotion, and reconnection with the living world.
